Now under Display Options, uncheck the box that says Display icon in notification area. settings Navigate to the Office tab and uncheck Use Office to sync office files. In the Notification Tray, right-click the SkyDrive icon (the clouds) and select Settings. In the Upload Center window, click on Settings. Right click on the OneDrive tray icon and choose settings. I do not recommend doing this unless you have a specific reason to not use the Office Upload Center functionality. If you don't have multiple people editing documents, or if you just want to use the SkyDrive synchronization instead, it's possible to tell SkyDrive not to use Office Upload Center for Office documents. The SkyDrive synchronization doesn't have this level of granularity, and syncing becomes a "last writer wins" scenario.
